Portia Clarke

Portia Clarke is currently Chief of Staff at TMG. She oversees the commercial operations Entertainment and Marketing for live experience Brands such as Afro Nation and Piano People. 

Previously Head Of Marketing for Universal Music Group at Motown Records and Virgin Music UK overseeing a roster of both UK and International some artist including the names such as Tiana Major9, Babyface, City Girls, Fredo, Krept and Konan, NBA Never Broke Again and Nemzzz.

Portia became the first person to ever hold the genre lead position at Warner Music Group UK exporting the genre of black music internationally for artist such as Tion Wayne, Russ Millions, Ghetts , Pa Salieu and Kojey Radical, Stalk Ashley. In this role she achieved great success including Multiple number 1’s globally and gold, platinum album campaigns and Pa Salieu Jimmy Fallon performance.

Previously She spent over a decade consulting for likes of Red Music globally , Bacardi Rum, Sony 4th floor Creative, Black Butter Records, Pepsi, Spotify , Clark’s, Atlantic Records, Monster Energy and Campari. 

She has delivered a yearly portfolio for some of the top brands globally.

Portia’s extensive experience producing activations and consulting much wider than the UK shores. Countries including USA and The Caribbean.   

Whilst she delivers a 360 approach, music, culture, lifestyle, and diversity are key pillars to Portia’s work.

Portia developed her portfolio working with Bacardi Rum to produce a four-part documentary series titled “Sound of Rum”.  This has now gone on to WIN three categories in the Brand Film Festival Awards. Portia delivery the first Notting Hill carnival stage for Bacardi with Major Lazer, Steff Lon Don, Giggs, Mr Vegas which received the highest brand activation figures for the brand globally.

To date Portia Has delivered several Red Bull Culture Clashes included Atlanta with Kranium and London with Popcaan, most recently Wray and Nephew Notting Hill Carnival with Patrice Roberts, Ricardo Drue, Alison Hinds.

She has been awarded top 100 Creative Superwoman 2019 by Pitch , 100 Influential Women of Colour by Black Magic Networks and the She said so Alt list 2020 honoree.
