Gallowglass

Gallowglass Crewing, established in 1996, provides comprehensive local crew support services for corporate events, exhibitions, festivals, theatres, outdoor events, film & TV, sporting events, and ceremonies.

Over the years, Gallowglass has supported more than 14,000 staff. Many of them have successfully advanced their careers in the live event, arts, and television sectors, having progressed through our system to become sound technicians, lighting experts, A/V technicians, and riggers. Some have transitioned into senior management roles within production companies, and others have achieved promotions within Gallowglass.

All Gallowglass crew members undergo induction and receive basic safety training before going on-site. Shortly after, they are given the opportunity to specialize in a specific industry discipline or environment, such as theatres, stadiums, or television studios. Crew members also have the chance to earn Level 2, 3, 4, and 5 qualifications, including an innovative one in production skills for event crew.

Gallowglass continues to provide support for some of the most iconic events globally, playing a key role in festivals, theatres, global sporting events, and television and film productions. We maintain permanent relationships with prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Dock10 in Manchester, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, and hold contractual relationships with Parliament and the royal palaces.
